Origin of Name “Mouse”

When first mouse was developed from 1960s to early 1970s, it was named because appearance of power cable extending from main body being separated from main body resembled tail of mouse. It is said that this name was given because mouse also allows user to control cursor of computer with small movement, just like mouse manipulates things with small movement.
