Place becoming “Face” of user. “Profile Picture” Free Material

Icon where silhouette of person (upper body) fits inside square frame like ID photo. Most widely used design as “Default image (No Image)” when user has not registered own photo yet on my page of web service or app. Functions as universal symbol of “person” not identifying specific individual.

Specific Usage Scenes and Suggestions

This icon is active around “account” of every service as basic part of UI design.

• For “Profile Image (Avatar)” of Website and App
  As initial setting image of area where user’s face photo is displayed in SNS, membership site, comment column etc. Even without photo, intuitively conveys that it is place where “person’s face” enters.
• For “Photo Column” of Resume / Entry Sheet
  As placeholder indicating frame to upload face photo on WEB resume creation screen of recruitment site. Can be used with image of “ID photo” as is.
• For “Icon” Expression of Anonymous User / Guest
  Can be utilized as icon indicating “Anonymous” user who does not reveal name or “Guest user” not registered as member on review sites and bulletin boards.
• For “Under Preparation” Image of Member Introduction Page
  As provisional image of member whose photo is not yet ready on staff introduction page etc. Can maintain design unity rather than just leaving blank.

Editing Tips and Benefits of EPS Format

In addition to PNG and SVG formats convenient for Web production, EPS format of vector data suitable for DTP design and advanced editing is included in the distribution file.

If it is EPS format, free arrangement is possible using software like Illustrator. For example, please customize according to tone of site, such as making default images for men and women by changing silhouette color to “blue” and “red (pink),” or changing square frame to “circle (rounded corner)” to make more modern SNS style design.
